Use the result carefully
- Measure the complete job, including preparing information, checking the output and handling exceptions.
- Use representative work rather than selecting only easy cases.
- Compare quality and reliability as well as time.
- Consider software, implementation, maintenance and training costs separately.
- A time reduction is not automatically a reduction in payroll or an increase in revenue.
What this calculation can tell you
